William Andrews

William Andrews is an English-born Australian with a BA in English and Criminology from the University of Melbourne and an MA in Writing from James Cook University, Townsville. A PhD beckons, so 'thesis' will soon become a curse word!

William is the author or co-author of eleven books - four novels, three anthologies of short stories, two works of creative non-fiction, a short play and - under a pseudonym - a children's book. The subjects are as diverse as psycho-killers, the Great War, military adventure, Aussie noir, erotica and film criticism. He has another half-dozen projects in progress, including a work of Doctor Who fan fiction.

When not writing, William enjoys cricket, history, collecting interesting coffee mugs, starting arguments for fun even when he secretly agrees with the other person and talking about himself in the third person.

When writing, William avoids sleep by drinking copious amounts of coffee. His new year's resolution (already broken) is to work on one project at a time. He is currently working on several books, including a series of children's books under pseudonym.
