James A. Hill

James A. Hill was born in Tanzania to Irish parents who were on expat duty there. He was raised in Strabane in Northern Ireland, and grew up there during the height of the Troubles. He has always had a love of escapist and farcical fiction and enjoys reading Tolkien, Wodehouse, Wilde and Waugh to this day. He has travelled widely, having lived and worked in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, France, Singapore and Australia.

His first novel, Tempus Fugit: Rome, was published in 2011 as an ebook. Jim is a great believer in the ebook revolution and understands its appeal to young readers. The Tempus Fugit series, more books are planned, combines his love of fantasy with his love of history. It takes three young people (Corban, Agnes and Zebina) and places them in the most critical moments in world history where they have to ensure the defeat of the Enemy who would destroy all.

He also writes plays and short stories, some of which he hopes to publish in the near future.
