Karen DelleCava has always loved to write. She's a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and Women Who Write.

Her fiction for younger and middle grade readers, crafts, games and party plans have appeared in Highlights for Children magazine.

She has worked part time as yearbook consultant working with dedicated teachers and parent volunteers and talented students in the elementary & middle school market in North Jersey.

She enjoys biking, step aerobics and Zumba when she's not reading, writing or playing Scrabble.

A Closer Look is her first young adult novel.
