Leena Prasad

Leena Prasad is the author of "not exactly haiku", a collection of short thought poems, and of "iT felt Like A kiss", a book that explores the art personality of the Mission district of San Francisco. She has published pieces in The Press Democrat newspaper, India Currents magazine, KQED Sparks websiste, Mission Arts Monthly magazine, and various other print and online periodicals and websites. Leena has a Journalism M.A. from Stanford University and published the South Asian literary magazine, Accent, prior to attending Stanford. At Stanford, she was a staff writer for the Stanford Daily.

When Leena is not writing, she works with computer software for fun and funds. She has B.S. in Computer Science from Tulane University.
