Terri Griffiths-Granard Lives in California with her family. She writes about raising her special needs son who has a rare disease called Ring14. She is president and co-founder of a non profit called Ring14 USA Outreach,Inc.( www.ring14usa.org )
Maintaining hope,researching newly available treatments and supporting other people with similar issues has led her to discover a multitude of answers that were not readily available through 'regular medical resources'."We are advocates for all disablilites,& hope to better the lives of those who live with these issues", says Granard.
Terri has communicated with over 38 families in the world who also have a Ring14 child, or similar diagnosis.The medical research group in Rome,Italy (www. Ring14.com)has also given her a great sense of hope because they are tackling this orphan disease. New medical studies are in the works for Ring14.
In her spare time she enjoys her family & all types of music,movies,concerts,painting,photography travel, her dobermans and days at the beach.
