Carmen S. Bauer was born in 1956, in Wiesbaden (Germany), where she grew up with a younger brother.
She studied Political Science at the University of Hamburg and at the London School of Economics and Political Science. After graduating with a PhD, she worked in an array of jobs, her last job being in Brussels, where she came across different nations and cultures.
She abandoned her career in Brussels to live in Northern Ireland with her partner and never regretted having moved to this lovely place on earth.
Whereas her jobs always required writing a lot for other people, she started publishing her own works after settling in her new home. Her earliest book “Yorkshire Terrier – Zwerge mit Löwenherz” was first available in 2011 in Germany.
When she is not writing, or walking her dogs, she is a passionate gardener.
