John Robert Baumgartner

John Robert Baumgartner lives in northern Indiana with his wife Tammy; they have 3 children. They are active in their community as Sunday School teachers, volunteers and have sat on several boards for charitable organizations. John has also spent five years serving their local church as a Lay Pastor, and their home town as a a minor-league (7 to 10 year old) baseball coach for 10 years.

All on-line author proceeds from the books are being donated by John and Tammy to a ministry they helped found called "A Friend's House Ministries" that provides free-of-charge residential facilities for young women facing difficult battles with crisis preganancies, sexual abuse, eating disorders, self-harm issues, substance abuse and other traumatizing events. A graduate of Ball State University from the Business/Marketing Department and the Journalism Department, John has worked in sales, marketing and advertising in Chicago, IL and Fort Wayne, IN. Like Losing Your Left Hand was released in 2011, followed by Rori's Ghost: The Secret of the Stone Stairs in 2012.
