Obinna Ozoigbo

Born in 1972 in Enugu, Nigeria, where he grew up, Obinna Ozoigbo hails from Ihiala, in Anambra State, Nigeria. Following his father's change of jobs from the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu to Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri (also in Nigeria), Mr. Ozoigbo completed his secondary-school education in the latter town, where, at 13, he began to unleash the literary prowess in him. For his tertiary education, he attended ATB University, Lagos State University, and the University of Calabar, all in Nigeria. He has participated several times as guest writer in the Silverbird BookJam, a monthly book event organized by the Silverbird Group in Lagos and Abuja with a view to promoting the Nigerian reading culture. His first novel of 218 pages was written when he was 17, but has not yet been published. Mr. Ozoigbo lives in Lagos with his wife and three children, and looks forward to launching into full-time writing. His literary influences are Charles Dickens, Cyprian Ekwensi, and Sidney Sheldon. The Dust Must Settle is his second literary work. Presently, he is working on his third.
