Saideh A. Brown

Saideh Brown is a third-generation estate sale executive, author, and influential speaker who has been curating homes, lifestyles, and legacies since 2003. She is the Principal of 1837, a legacy and estate asset management firm, and the owner of Manor & Vintage, its retail counterpart. Brown also serves as President Emeritus of the National Council of Women at the United Nations.

Born in New Jersey and raised in Greenwich Village/NYC, Saideh lived an immersive experience of urban city living; the NYC Pride Parade, the West 4th St. basketball cages, and the Village's bohemian arts culture provided an intersectional foundation for what would become a life of service to others and an entrepreneurial journey unmatched by few.

She began her career at a media company rising through the ranks in finance. In 1996 she opened a beeper store, a breakthrough concept that became the launch point for many of her future endeavors in entertainment, sports, real estate, social engagement, and philanthropy. Seeking balance between her multi-location stores and her growing family Saideh sold the business as cell phones began to dominate the personal communications industry.

In 2003, she began sharing her expertise through books and talks, creating a body of work that traced a progression from reconciling cultural and spiritual identity, to applying remix as a strategy for life and business, to cultivating personal discipline and courage, to establishing scientific and institutional credibility, and finally to stewarding wealth, access, and legacy across generations.

In 2015 she became a global force for advancing women's economic empowerment as President of the National Council of Women at the United Nations.

Saideh is widely recognized for her fearless entrepreneurial agility, and adaptive leadership style, earning numerous awards and media recognition. Through her firm Manor & Vintage, an estate sale brokerage, she helps families create legacies, and live as beautifully as their dreams. Her business, powered by creativity, innovation and design, provide a soulful approach to life that honors culture, ceremony, and connection. She offers a paved road to a curated sanctuary where the comforts of home are desired now more than ever. Saideh invites others into a lifestyle where beauty, warmth, and intention shape every gathering. From brick layered brownstones to a weather worn wrapped porch, she helps nesters create a home and life to love for the moments that matter the most.

She has served on three multi-million dollar nonprofit boards, and continues to power human potential at scale.
