Rebecca Grace Collins

Rebecca Grace Gardner Collins was born in Atlanta, Georgia and has lived in Japan and Germany which has given her a unique perpective on life and a love for people of different cultures.

She graduated from Truett-McConnell College where she met her wonderful husband, Douglas. They both graduated from the University of Georgia with degrees in Education. Douglas went into the field of medicine later and Rebecca taught school. They have two children and twelve grandchildren and six great grand children.

Rebecca was also a Church Librarian where she began her writing career writing books for children. After being a caregiver to her mother for nearly seven years, she wrote the book Diary of a Mad Caregiver. She has written articles for magazines such as Focus on the Family Clubhouse, Life Way Mature Living, The Country Register and The Christian Writers Fellowship International - Cross & Quill.

Rebecca enjoys their farm where she works with the animals. She also loves to garden. She is leading a respite and support group for caregivers called "We Cares" at their Church where she and her husband are active serving the Lord. She also leads each month a Bible Study she wrote called Weapons of Warfare for Weary Caregivers.
