Kalli K. Reid has been writing children's stories and poetry since she was sixteen. She was raised in Livonia, Michigan along with her five siblings. She has a teaching certificate in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement. Throughout her life she has enjoyed working with children of all ages and in different capacities; as a babysitter, a daycare provider, Sunday school teacher, Cub Scout leader, professional clown, camp counselor, tutor, and currently as a preschool teacher in the Plymouth-Canton School District. One of her favorite positions is being a mother; she has two grown sons, Brenen and Alex. In 2008 she added a new position of grandmother; she has one precious grandson Ashton. Oh No! Ah Yes! is her first published work and was released in April 2010. Marie only likes TV, and Keith doesn't like to brush his teeth, but what if they made a different choice? From sharing to trying new foods to getting exercise, Oh No! Ah Yes! helps young readers discover how making good choices is the right thing to do. Oh No! Ah Yes! recently received the Silver Seal for excellence in Developing Social Skills from The Mom's Choice Awards (MCA). She is currently working on a sequel to her first book to be named Oh No! Ah Yes! Again! Website: kallikreidbooks.com
