Ira Bruce Nadel

Professor of English at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Ira Nadel has published biographies of Leonard Cohen, Tom Stoppard, David Mamet and Leon Uris. His critical books include Biography: Fiction, Fact & Form, Joyce and the Jews, Modernism's Second Act and Companion to Philip Roth. He has also edited the Cambridge Companion to Ezra Pound, Ezra Pound: Early Writings and Ezra Pound in Context. He has lectured in the US, China, Japan, Australia, Korea, Singapore, Russia and throughout Europe. Forthcoming is Philip Roth, A Counterlife to appear in the spring of 2021.
