Alexandrine de Mun

Born in France, I left Paris in 1980 to settle in Italy, where I founded my family. I had the privilege of living in the Venetian countryside, as well as in Venice and Trieste. My professional journey led me to work on the family farm before turning to publishing and contributing to the organization Patrimoines sans frontières upon my return to Paris, after spending half a century in northeastern Italy. Currently, I split my time between Venice and France, two places that nourish my creativity. Writing has always been at the heart of my life; for me, it is the best way to convey emotions and share knowledge. My love for Venice, which began with a love at first sight at the age of 19, inspired me to collect the testimonies of Venetians about their city, resulting in my first book. I am also in the process of finalizing a work on Trieste, a city both beautiful and complex, which offers essential insights to better understand its history and culture.
