Cornelia Woll

Cornelia Woll is Professor of International Political Economy and president of the Hertie School, the University of Governance in Berlin. Trained as a political scientist with an expertise in business-government relations, she researches how markets are governed and what effect the economy has on politics in Europe, the United States and beyond. Her recent books focus on corporate criminality, bailouts during the financial crisis and lobbying on trade policy. Other work has examined economic patriotism, various economic and industrial policies and the dynamics of European integration.
