David Pearson was born in Bennington, Vermont and brought up in Miami, Florida. He began his writing career as a correspondent for United Press International, covering Civil Rights in the South. This was to be helpful in years following when he served in both Presidents Kennedy and Johnson's administrations.
Perhaps the most important moment of his life was the night of November 22, 1963, when he was called to the White House to handle the press following the assassination of President Kennedy. His story of that evening leads off his first book, JFK and BOBBY, ARNIE and JACK...and David! (The Unusual PR career of David Pearson).
After a successful career in public relations promoting high quality resort and golf communities throughout the Western Hemisphere, Pearson returned to writing. His second book is a
novella, Upon a Peak in Darien, recently published by Amazon and Kindle Direct Publishing.
