Julian Smyth

Julian Smyth was born in Yorkshire and spent his childhood in Kenya, Bahrain, Germany and occasionally back in England. He studied music composition at university and spent ten years managing symphony orchestras before embarking on a new career as a charity and educational fundraiser.

He writes music for pleasure, plays bad golf, watches good rugby and drinks good wine when the opportunity presents itself. He spent much of his life on planes reading fantasy novels before deciding he ought to have a bash himself.
