Klaas Verplancke

Klaas Verplancke is an author, illustrator, animator, and professor of illustration who has won acclaim for his work in the New Yorker and the New York Times, as well as for the Museum of Modern Art and other international venues. A finalist for the Hans Christian Andersen Medal for illustration and a frequent nominee for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, he lives in Belgium.
