Guillaume Fourrier

Guillaume Fourrier is a French sport fishing guide in Dieppe (Normandy). He set 28 world and French records. He is going fishing wherever it is possible, in Europe and up to the antipodes of Europe in New-Caledonia where he spent some months in 2006.

Lifeguard from 1999 to 2003, he faced challenging navigations in the Strait of Dover, which forms a narrow corridor that has the greatest concentration of shipping in the world alongside over one hundred special weather forecasts a year.

He studies marine environment. In 2004 he used to work in the French National Centre of the Sea NAUSICAÁ. In the French Sea fishing discovery center MAREIS, in studied the predators behaviour in front of a fishing lure. He participates in tuna tagging programmes with IFREMER and Spanish scientists.
