Thierry Gaillard

Tony Thierry Gaillard is a Swiss author and FSP-certified psychotherapist, trained in several schools of thought, including developmental psychology (Piaget), depth psychology (analytic psychology, psychoanalysis, Daseinsanalysis), and existential psychology. He specializes in integrative and transgenerational therapies and is familiar with gifted and talented (HP) profiles (more information on his website, t-gaillard). After studying psychology in Switzerland (Lausanne and Geneva) and in New York (CUNY Graduate Center), he worked as an assistant at the University of Geneva and in care facilities for children and adolescents. He trained in body-oriented therapies, phenomenology, and non-dual approaches before being initiated to the arcane of the unconscious in several psychoanalytical schools.

In addition to his consultations, he offers training and supervision, writes articles and books, collaborates on various projects and has attracted media attention for numerous interviews.

In particular, he discovered the transgenerational structure underlying the Oedipus myth (spanning four generations) and presented his analysis in his first book, *Sacré Oedipe* (Yvelinedition, 2004). He reveals the ancestral therapeutic model that finally explains Oedipus’s glorious apotheosis at Colonus. A discovery that renews a body of ancient knowledge, especially transgenerational knowledge, essential to shed light on today's individual and collective problems. By reconsidering our relationship to the world and to origins, this new paradigm proposes to remedy environmental and debt issues.

Tony Thierry Gaillard is also interested in yoga and mindfulness, modified states of consciousness, spiritual teachings, and various initiations he discovered during his travels in Asia and South America, particularly among the Shipibo people of the Amazon.
