Seth Whidden

Seth Whidden is Professor of French at the University of Oxford and the Roger Pearson Fellow in French at The Queen's College, Oxford. A specialist of nineteenth-century French literature, he has written four monographs, directed six volumes of essays, and published numerous critical editions, translations, and articles. He has been the editor of the scholarly journal Nineteenth-Century French Studies since 2014.
