Mathieu Gabella

Mathieu Gabella has been writing comics since 2002. He is the author of some fifty french graphic novels for Glénat, Delcourt, Dargaud, Bamboo and Urban Comics, published in sixteen languages by around sixty publishers — with more editions abroad than in France.

His work spans original series — The Unicorn (La Licorne), The Executioner (Le Bourreau), The Dragon's Maw (Dans le ventre du Dragon), 3 Wishes (3 Souhaits), The Agent (L'Agent) — historical narratives for Glénat and Fayard's Ils ont fait l'Histoire collection, including a three-volume De Gaulle, and international licences: Conan the Cimmerian, adapted from Robert E. Howard, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and the Paris chapter of DC Comics' Batman: The World anthology.

English-language editions include The Cimmerian and The Agent (Ablaze) and Assassin's Creed Valhalla: The Hidden Codex (Dark Horse).

He also writes for screen and directs French voice-over for video games, including Monster Hunter Wilds and Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
