A. Kayode Coker

Dr. A. Kayode Coker, PhD is a distinguished chemical engineer with over three decades of professional experience. He currently serves as a Principal Engineering Consultant for AKC TECHNOLOGY and holds the position of Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Wolverhampton, U.K. Dr Coker's impressive career includes key roles such as Engineering Coordinator at the Saudi Aramco Refinery Company (SASREF) and Chairman of the department of Chemical Engineering Technology at Jubail Industrial College, Saudi Arabia. As a chartered chemical engineer, Dr. Coker is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, U.K. (C.Eng., FIChemE), and a senior member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). His academic credentials are robust featuring a B. Sc. honors degree in Chemical Engineering, a Master of Science degree in Process Analysis and Development and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, all from Aston University, Birmingham, U.K. Additionally, he holds a Teacher's Certificate in Education from the University of London, U.K. Dr. Coker is a prolific author and educator, with fourteen books in chemical and petrochemical engineering and a contributor to the Encyclopaedia of Chemical Processing Design, Vol. 61.

He has directed and conducted numerous short courses worldwide and has extensive experience in lecturing at the university level. His research and articles have been published in several international journals. In addition to his academic and professional achievements, Dr. Coker is a certified train-the mentor trainer, a Technical Report Assessor and Interviewer for chartered chemical engineers (IChemE) in the U.K. His contributions to the field have earned him recognition as one of the Leading Engineers of the World by the International Biographical Centre in Cambridge, U.K., and listings in the International Who's Who for Professionals and Madison Who's Who in the U.S.
