Emmanuelle Avril

Emmanuelle AVRIL is Professor of Contemporary British Politics and Society at the Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris 3 University in Paris. Her research focusses on political participation, organisational change and mobilisation within political parties (in particular the British Labour Party). This line of research has come to include a study of the impact of new technologies on party membership and activism. Other aspects of her research include ideology, the rhetoric of political images and creativity in political research.
