Bruce Bracken Sr.

Bruce Bracken is a Professor Emeritus at The College of William & Mary. During his career, Bruce published many articles, books, psychological tests, and related professional materials.

Bruce has held elected offices and chaired committees for the American Psychological Association, the International Test Commission, and the National Association of School Psychologists. He is a Fellow of the APA in two divisions, and a Charter Fellow of the American Educational Research Association. Dr. Bracken is a Diplomate and Fellow in the American Board of Assessment Psychology. Bruce received a “Senior Scientist” award from the American Psychological Association and the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the University of Georgia.

In addition to his scholarly contributions, Bruce has enjoyed writing fiction, including three novels: Death on Gwynn’s Island, Invisible, The Hollidaysburg Christmas Miracle.
