Bruce Bracken Sr.

Bruce Bracken obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston and Master’s and Doctoral degrees from the University of Georgia. He is a Professor Emeritus at The College of William & Mary. During his career, Bruce published more than two hundred articles, books, psychological tests, and related professional materials.

Bruce has held elected offices and chaired committees for the American Psychological Association, the International Test Commission, and the National Association of School Psychologists. He is a Fellow of the APA in two divisions, and a Charter Fellow of the American Educational Research Association. Dr. Bracken is a Diplomate and Fellow in the American Board of Assessment Psychology. Bruce received a “Senior Scientist” award from the American Psychological Association and the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the University of Georgia.

In addition to his scholarly contributions, Bruce has flourished writing fiction, including three novels: Invisible, The Hollidaysburg Christmas Miracle, and Achilles: Feet of Clay.
