Alison Clark-Wilson

Alison is a former school mathematics teacher in the UK who became an Advanced Skills Teacher with a specialism in the use of digital technologies in the classroom. She moved into academic in the early 2000s, leading a large Master's programme in mathematics education and working in close collaboration with industry on the design of digital resources. Her research interests concern two 'wicked problems': the design of professional learning opportunities for teachers to stay abreast of new technologies; and the challenges of scaling and sustaining their effective use in classrooms.
