Joseph Spencer

Joseph Spencer (Spence) connected to the political process when he was six-years old canvassing door-to-door with his mother in John Lindsay’s first campaign for Mayor of New York City.

He was a “Teen-Age Republican” before he was a teen-ager, lost heart in the Carter years and found real hope again when Ronald Reagan raised his right hand.

He attended New Mexico Military Institute, and celebrated the U.S. Bicentennial by graduating in 1976. He served in the Army and Army Reserve until 1984, worked as a print and broadcast journalist then enjoyed careers in the financial services industry and real estate investment and development. He has built and runs a number of small businesses.

He currently resides in La Jolla, California.
