Gary Barnes

Gary Barnes is an Environmental Health Specialist and Human Resource Trainer with many years of hiking, backpacking, and wilderness survival experience. While in college, he worked at Grand Canyon National Park during summer break as a backcountry trail guide. Toward the end of his work career, he was a Human Resource trainer for the Canyon's hospitality provider. He has backpacked wilderness routes throughout the Grand Canyon and the desert Southwest.
