Henry Wong

Henry brings more than two decades of experience in education, having served in roles ranging from supply teacher and middle school mathematics teacher to admissions and marketing manager, director of business administration, and co-head of school. He also taught intercultural communication and international trade at Tianjin University of Technology in China.

Through his leadership roles in international and bilingual schools in Singapore, China, and the United States, Henry developed a deep understanding of administrative and non-teaching functions. His work has focused on improving school operations and strengthening the experiences of students, families, and staff. He has worked in schools with enrolments ranging from 220 to 1,400 students, adapting his leadership approach to a variety of educational settings.

Born and raised in Singapore, Henry pursued his bachelor’s degree at Biola University in California, majoring in organizational leadership. He then earned his master’s degree in education at Pepperdine University, also in California, and a second MA at Biola University in intercultural studies with an emphasis on international business.

Henry is now a semi-retired expatriate living in Bangkok. He coordinates conferences, facilitates professional development workshops for school support and non-teaching staff, and trades currencies and stocks. In his free time, he enjoys walking, exploring different neighborhoods, traveling, and swimming almost every day.
