Kevin Ring

I first picked up a book on computer programming around the same time I learned to read, and landed my first job as a professional software developer before I graduated high school. Since then, I received a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, worked for an exciting startup company that soon went belly-up, did more than my fair share of software development consulting, and wrote a pretty nifty 3D game engine that never quite made it into a published title. I now work for Analytical Graphics, Inc., where I am the lead architect of AGI Components, a family of class libraries for analyzing and visualizing land, sea, air, and space systems. I live in Southeastern Pennsylvania with my wife, Kristen; son, Miles; two cats, Eva and Ony; and dog, Kota.
