As a freelancer in the Northwest Outdoor Writers' Association (NOWA), I write about fishing, boating, camping, archery -- about 145 articles, for 16 magazines, e-zines, and 1 newspaper.

For 3 years, I've written a monthly fishing column for Pacific Nor'West Boating magazine.

For 4 years, I've written a monthly outdoors column for a newspaper, the Tri-City Herald.

With good fortune, 11 of my stories & books have won Excellence-in-Craft awards from NOWA.

In return, I pen craft improvement articles for fellow writers.

As a long-time science teacher & journalism advisor in high school, community college, & college, I've helped young writers learn their trade.

I also write under contract for companies & agencies -- environmental reports, lab manuals, press releases, journal articles, research proposals....

My training -- BS, Biology, Lafayette College; MS, Freshwater Ecology, Lehigh University -- helps me inform you about fishery science.

I present power-point seminars at boat shows, sports shows, tackle shops....
