Kunihiro Kimura

Kunihiro Kimura (1958-) was born in Shizuoka, Japan.

He was awarded the degree of Ph.D from Tohoku University (Japan) for the thesis titled "Mathematics of Collective Action and the Groups Size." He is now Professor Emeritus of Tohoku University.

He is conducting quantitative analyses of social attitudes, mathematical analyses of social decision making, studies for improving social survey methods, from an interdisciplinary perspective based on sociological social psychology.

His papers in English are published in international academic journals such as QUALITY & QUANTITY, JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICAL SOCIOLOGY, and SOCIOLOGICAL THEORY AND METHODS.
