Max C. Y. Wong

Max Wong is a risk professional with more than 15 years of experience in financial services, based in Singapore. He has worked in the following roles—quant risk manager, market strategist, futures trader, financial analyst—in various international banks. He was an “open outcry” pit trader during the Asian crisis in 1997 and quant risk manager during the credit crisis in 2007. He holds a B.Sc. degree in physics (with first class honors) and M.Sc. degree in financial engineering. Max’s current research is in the area of financial regulatory reform and innovative risk management. He is a Christian, married with two children.
