Everything else you need to know about Anna is probably contained in the author's first interview, conducted in 1989 by the boy next door:

Anna Roth is my six year old neighbor (or 6 3/4, as she tells me). She is an avid Seattle Mariners fan and idolizes Pee-Wee Herman. Anna attends first grade at Wedgwood Elementary School. She likes her teacher, Ms. Taylor, because she only assigns homework once per week. When I asked Anna what her favorite subject was in school, she instantly replied, "Recess." Anna's favorite hobby is to chase a first grade boy named Mike.

Anna's best friend is her stuffed animal, Miranda the Panda. Miranda is also 6 3/4 years old and was born downtown.

Aside from Miranda, Anna's prize possessions are her Minnie Mouse watch and Pee-Wee Herman belt.

Anna likes to visit her relatives in Los Angeles and Moab, Utah. Anna lived in Saratoga, New York for three years and deeply wants to see the Statue of Liberty.

Anna's favorite day of the year is the Fourth of July and her favorite movie is "Who Framed Roger Rabbit."

Anna's one wish in life is to have fried chicken and milk for dinner, every night for the rest of her life!
