I am David A. Duke, Founder and Publisher of Quiet Heart Press, a private endeavor in Texas. For more than seventeen years Quiet Heart Press has provided a free reading room on the internet. The reading room is visited by many people all around the world every year. Inspirational poetry, prose, and short articles on numerous subjects are available without cost to any visitor.

Quiet Heart Press is neither a business nor a hobby for me; it is a part of my heart I open up to you. This is a place to find some peace and rest in your busy day. Quiet Heart dares to search dark corners of broken hearts ... to touch weary souls ... to speak of hope, and trust, and faith. You are welcome there.

Quiet Heart offers a selection of printed and electronic books (eBooks) for purchase. Most of these books are mine. Novels, commentary, inspirational writing, prophecy studies, and children's books are available. Works by other authors may sometimes be featured by Quiet Heart Press. There are also a few books available for free download in an older PDF format.

Over a period of 30 years, I taught 7 Single Adult Bible study classes in 5 different Texas churches, and 3 married couples classes. I also taught high school age kids and childrens classes, coached the kid's softball team, drove buses, took the boy's group to summer camp a couple of years, served on numerous committees, and served as Church Training Director, among other things.

PLEASE NOTE: Just like almost everyone, I have a name, and other people have the same, or very similar, name. I am me. I AM NOT the David Duke from Louisiana that was a part of the KKK. I have never been in or aspired to political office. I have never been in prison. I am not a doctor. I have never been on television. ALL the books I have written are presented or published by Quiet Heart Press, and I always use my middle initial in all my work: David A. Duke. Anything else you find or read that does not match all these facts is not by me.
