George Morrison

George Morrison was a writer and the author of seven novels.

Winner of multiple awards for his technical publications, George spent a lifetime writing about the tech and medical industries before switching to subjects he was more passionate about. He lived and wrote in Wisconsin but traveled the world, lived in Japan for three years when he was a child. He drew from extensive experience with diverse cultures and regions when writing.

A quiet guy with a goofy sense of humor, he was usually found reading, writing, playing guitar, or talking to the water in Door County. He was a co-founder of the Waunakee Writers’ Group and regularly spokes to groups and travels. George ended his career in 2025 when he unexpectedly passed away.
