Jamie Sajewel

Jamie Sajewel is a prolific writer and poet. After a 24-year career as a flight attendant for an award-winning, Midwestern-based airline, she has left that all behind to earnestly embrace her heart's next delicious desire; to sincerely and sweetly share her potpourri of personal pennings. In 2010, she realized and began to establish her new beginnings as a "Professional Relaxer and Life Attendant", which, by the grace of God, has led to becoming a published author!

Sajewel's passion for words is "taking-off" with the recent publication and release of her first children's book, Do Watermelons Grow On Trees? Her book won the Merit Award at the 18th annual Colorado Independent Publishers Association EVVY Competition in 2012.

She has a slew of upcoming stories to delight people of all ages, including EAT SLEEP PLAY~A Day In The Life Of Baby Sweet Cheeks, Lance And His Silly Pants, Toots The Turtle, Wanda's Wacky Wig, Lazy Bones Jones, and Our Pup Chipper. She has two books of original poetry also in the works: Peppered Pickles And Other Present Moment Poems, and Flowers Grow In The Desert.

The word "impossible" does not exist in her vocabulary or belief structure. She loves to explore, dream, discover, play and pray, and thanks God for the gift of every day! She was born in Tucson, Arizona and has since lived in numerous places including Puerto Rico where she fondly remembers experiencing a major life accomplishment at the fabulous age of four; that's where and when she learned to tie her own shoes!

Sajewel is married, has two adult sons and lives at SkyView Acres in the countryside of historic Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Her two puppies Charlotte and Lucy, add scads of adventure and juicy joy to her life. Ruth, Doosledorf, Gizmo, BBQ and Dumpling are some of her chickens and she's still waiting for one of them to lay an egg!
