Kent Eilers

As a Christian theologian and author my teaching, research and writing is focused on topics related to the Christian faith. More specifically my work centers on the God of the Gospel, the sources of the Christian witness (Scripture, tradition, etc.) and the lived reality of that witness as it takes shape in the Christian church and in the world. My passion has long been for the Gospel of Christ and for the flourishing of the Christian church, and these priorities guide my writing, teaching, and life.

As you look at my publications, you will see that several more narrow interests consistently appear and reappear in my work: the doctrine of the Christian life ("Sanctified by Grace"), the theology of Wolfhart Pannenberg ("Faithful to Save"), and theological method (I have a forthcoming book on this subject - details coming soon!).
