Peter J. Fusco

Peter J. Fusco was born in Utica, New York, a city with a large population of people from Italian descent. The third and youngest son and one of six children, he grew up in an ethnic household in which food had a very special, social, familial meaning. Unlike other Italian households in which the mother ruled the kitchen, his father, Michael C. Fusco was the preeminent cook having himself grown up in his family's restaurant business.

A reclusive individual, Peter Fusco has been a teacher, broadcast and print journalist, radio talk-show host, political adviser, investment banker, waste industry consultant, restaurateur and entrepreneur all to feed his writing addiction. His growing body of work reveals a broad range of interests. From novels to how-to political guides and even a cookbook, the eclectic mix resonates as the spirit of a man who is never quite satisfied to be in one place at any one time intellectually and spiritually.
