I was educated at Sutton High (GPDTS) School, Surrey and then went on to train as a nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital, London. I qualified with Honours and was the winner of the Gold Medal as the top nurse in my year going on to become the Sister on a female surgical ward, Lillian Holland.
After marrying my husband Peter Fell MD I gave up nursing to become a fulltime mother to my daughter and two sons. Later returning to nursing I then helped set up and run The Oxford Allergy Centre at the Acland Hospital, Oxford with my husband.
We retired to the beautiful County Kerry in the South West of Ireland where I started my new career, writing to while away the days when the Atlantic storms batter that part of the island.
I Have always enjoyed an active life with my family, I was a British Sub-Aqua Club Instructor, and I now enjoy my extensive garden and playing golf at the Ring of Kerry Golf Club where I was the Lady Captain in 2004/5.
