LEGEND OF THE MER SERIES:

I originally wrote the first story when I was seventeen in my junior year of high school; in my creative writing class.

After that, I say life happened and I went on to marry and have four daughters.

When my baby finally entered College, I began to rewrite my story.

Although I was raised a West Coast girl, my family and I moved to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia in 1995.

We quickly fell in love with the East Coast and began vacationing there. After my daughters went on a Mission trip which included time on Ocracoke Island along the Outer Banks of North Carolina, I began to draw inspiration for my Safe Harbor Island; which was first written as a West Coast island.

I believe Ocracoke's rich history inspired me to write a better story.

I Hope you will continue the journey with the sequels: LEGEND OF THE MER II The New Guardian and LEGEND OF THE MER III Song of Sirens. The Legend of the Mer Series is the story of each sibling: Lana, Jedediah and Lizzy. I'm currently writing the 4th in the series which tells Will's story.

THE HART OF TELENDARIA:

My latest book I've published is an Elven love story THE HART OF TELENDARIA. It was partly created in my mind as a child and then combined with a Pixie story I wrote between having babies at the age of 22. It was the first large manuscript I had ever written, but knew it would take a lot of effort to do it justice and didn't have the strength earlier to write it. I especially wanted to publish this one for my grandchildren to read one day and to share it with anyone needing a little adventure with love, perseverance, joy and hope. ;)

I'm a wife, mother and grandmother of twelve; they are the joy in my life. I believe in the power of prayer. I consider myself to be an inspirational writer and I enjoy writing poetry. I generally write Young Adult. I'm also a cancer survivor.
