Stanley Dalby, born 1932 in Czech Republic. Emigrated to Australia in 1949. Theatrical interests led to becoming a puppeteer with a travelling company under the auspices of the Elizabethan Theatre Trust. In 1966 became writer/director with Film Australia, a Commonwealth Government organisation producing films and videos for government departments. Over next 20 years produced many films dealing with industry, defence, trade and public relations. Wrote play MR CAPEK’S DILEMMA, freely available on internet. Translated 2 works by Stanislav Moc, CZECH WAKE and ITIKANI, both available in hard copy and for e-readers.
