Lisa L. Moore

Lisa L. Moore is an Alberta-born writer who has lived in Austin, Texas for almost thirty years. She is the author of Sister Arts: The Erotics of Lesbian Landscapes, which won the Lambda Literary Award, and published four other books of feminist and queer writing and criticism. Her articles, essays and reviews have appeared in venues including Critical Inquiry, Eighteenth-Century Studies, GLQ: A Journal of Lesbian and Gay Studies, and Feminist Studies. In addition to her chapbook 24 Hours of Men (Dancing Girl Press, 2018), Lisa Moore’s poems have appeared in Nimrod International Journal, The Fourth River, Borderlands Texas Poetry Review, Sinister Wisdom, Lavender Review, and other periodicals. She is Archibald A. Hill Professor of English and Professor of Women’s and Gender Studies at The University of Texas at Austin.
