Barbara L Skipper EdD

Barbara Skipper spent over 30 years as a Texas educator and received her doctorate in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University. It was with a team of Texas A&M professors and doctoral students that she co-authored the popular book, "Doing Naturalistic Inquiry", as a companion book to Lincoln and Guba's book, "Naturalistic Inquiry" to guide naturalistic researchers. More recently, Dr. Skipper, wrote the Texana historical fiction, "Amasa Clark's Journey: The Road from New York to Texas". This book is the exciting pioneer story of her great-grandfather, Amasa Gleason Clark, who settled near Bandera, Texas in 1852. In 2001 Barbara Skipper and her husband, Steve, retired to the family ranch near Bandera, Texas where Amasa Clark spent the majority of his life.
