I am a long time practicing attorney in Portsmouth, NH.I have practiced law for over fifty years and have a very active business and family law practice. My wife and I owned a horse farm. After a lifetime of riding and several broken bones later, i quit riding and took up writing. I find that writing is more to my liking at this stage of my life.I have recently completed my second book, which is a fictional story based upon facts. It deals with the breakup of the Soviet Union and the fact that there are 50-68 plutonium bombs missing and from the Soviet arsenal. The book traces the efforts of the United States, Russia, China and Israel to find the missing nuclear bombs and keep them out of terrorist hands.This story is in part based on my experience as a contractor with the Defense Nuclear Agency from 1993-1996; working in Russia on the Cooperative Threat Reduction Treary.The title of this book is: Secrets, In a Time of Peace. The title of the second book;a non-fiction account of my experiences in Korea as a young Air Force JAG officer involved in the defense of another young Air Force officer, accused of premeditated murder is: Command Influence, A Story of Korea and and the Politics of Injustice. It is an exciting story that I have long wanted to tell. It deals with ambitious and often perfidious men who were willing to sacrifice the life of my client for their own ambitions. It is now a best selling book on Outskirts Press Bookstore, The book has received several awards and is available at Amazon,Barnes & Noble,Independent Book stores, Kindle, ebooks and Nook books among others.
