Richard Dedor

Who am I? Well if you want a formal “Who is Richard,” here it is: Richard Dedor makes his home in Queens, New York, where he operates his speaking and training company. Richard believes that each of us has the ability to overcome any obstacle in addition to having a positive impact on those around us. He has spent the last ten years volunteering for community groups, working in politics and the non-profit sector. When he was 18, Richard ran for mayor of Mason City, Iowa, a town of 30,000. This campaign propelled him into the national spotlight. He finished third, but proclaimed on election night that it had been a victory. He holds a degree in public relations from the University of Northern Iowa and is training for a half and full-marathon in 2011 and 2012.
