Hi! I'm Tanya Wright (Deputy Kenya Jones on HBO's TRUE BLOOD and Netflix' ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK). My first job as an actor was on the Cosby Show (I played Theo's girlfriend, Tanya Simpson:) then, I moved to Los Angeles and enjoyed a string of roles on popular TV shows.

While in my dressing room, traveling from job to job-- anywhere I could, really--I'd write. I soon amassed a pretty hefty bank of screenplays and decided now was the time to begin my life's work of acting AND writing.
