Robert T. Garcia is co-author of BATMAN: A CELEBRATION OF THE CLASSIC TV SHOW, written with the incomparable Joe Desris. It contains an insane amount of information about the TV show, with 100s of great photos and production paintings. A gorgeous book. A Top 100 Amazon Bestseller for over 10 months in the genre of Nonfiction Books about Television Shows. He's also written numerous articles for the magazines ILLUSTRATION, FILMFAX and CINEFANTASTIQUE.

He is the co-editor of WORLDS OF EDGAR RICE BURROUGHS with Mike Resnick. A fully authorized anthology set in the fictional worlds of ERB. Along with Robert Weinberg and Douglas Ellis, he put together the now out-of-print THE COLLECTORS' BOOK OF VIRGIL FINLAY to celebrate the Centenary of the famous sf-fantasy-horror artist. It was published through his American Fantasy Press with the help of a successful Kickstarter campaign. Now out-of-print in made LOCUS magazine's 2014 Recommended Reading List: “—possibly the most important art book of the year.”

He co-edited WEINBERG TALES with Doug Ellis and Phyllis Weinberg. It's a tribute volume for author, art collector, pulp historian Robert Weinberg. It was a LOCUS NEW AND NOTABLE BOOK in LOCUS: "Lavishly illustrated with artwork and photos, this is a suitable tribute to a legend of the field.” He also co-edited TEMPORARY WALLS with DreamHaven Books' owner & WFC chairman, Greg Ketter (mentioned favorably in that year's YBFH).

Bob is the founder of American Fantasy Press. His wife Nancy and he won the World Fantasy Press Award way back in 1983 for American Fantasy™ magazine. The press has published the acclaimed award-winning novella "The Man on the Ceiling" by Steve Rasnic Tem & Melanie Tem which won the IHG Award, the World Fantasy Award and the Stoker Award. Bob has worked in publishing since the 1980s at such varied and interesting places as Cinefantastique magazine, Mayfair Games and First Comics. After he left the comics company, he created Garcia Publishing Services which he and his wife Nancy still operate. As a graphic designer, Bob has designed well over 100 publications from fine illustrated editions to magazines to chapbooks and calendars. GPS packaged the US 1st edition of Vargo Statten's CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON novelization for DreamHaven Books, bringing the very rare 1954 UK novelization back into print in style. GPS was also responsible for packaging the 2016 World Fantasy Convention Souvenir Book: FLIGHTS OF FANTASY and "UNREPENTANT: A Celebration of the Writings of Harlan Ellison" a souvenir anthology published by MadCon 2010..
