Lawrence E. Likar

Lawrence E Likar is a college professor, retired FBI special agent, and former member of the US Army's Special Forces. He is also an attorney and has worked as a private detective and certified security consultant(CPP). During his 23+ years with the FBI, he focused,at various times, on violent crime, counterterrorism, SWAT, and crisis negotiation. Currently, he is the chair of the Department of Justice, Law, and Security at La Roche College, where his academic focus is on criminal behavior analysis, law(constitutional, environmental, and national security), terrorism, and security studies. He loves his wife and his dog, likes hiking, and has a long-standing interest and fading proficiency in the martial arts. He believes that the major crisis facing our society is the rapid degradation of the natural environment.
