Greg Schwem is a corporate stand-up comedian, humorous business speaker and nationally syndicated humor columnist for Tribune Content Agency. In September 2024 he released his third, and most personal book, Turning Gut Punches into Punch Lines: A Comedian's Journey Through Cancer, Divorce and Other Hilarious Stuff.
As a comedian, Greg has performed for companies including Microsoft, Cisco Systems, United Airlines, Motorola, IBM and McDonald's. Greg also has appeared in concert with the likes of Celine Dion, Keith Urban, Jay Leno, Pat Benatar and Enrique Iglesias. His comedy bits about business and technology can be heard regularly on XM/Sirius Radio's Laugh USA.
Sitcom star Ray Romano said Greg's first book, Text Me If You're Breathing, "made me LOL and ROFL". His follow up, The Road to Success Goes Through the Salad Bar, was inspired by the collection of characters Greg encountered while performing his stand-up act to business groups worldwide.
Greg calls Turning Gut Punches into Punch Lines "Eat, Pray, Love" if it were written by a comedian. Laugh along with Greg as he hilariously navigates a post-divorce, post-cancer world in a new environment full of “gig work,” dating apps, therapy and “rizz.” In his search for personal growth and happiness, Greg realizes the answers lie not within a phone or through Artificial Intelligence, but through humor and face-to-face communication.
