Lynne Wilson

Lynne Wilson is the author of the books 'Deadly Victorian Remedies', 'A Year in Victorian Edinburgh', 'Crime & Punishment in Victorian Edinburgh', 'A Grim Almanac of Glasgow' and 'Murder & Crime in Stirling'. Although Lynne's career has mainly consisted of scientific and research work, she has always had a strong interest in the social history of the Victorian era and has spent many years researching this topic. Having previously studied in both Edinburgh and Glasgow, Lynne now lives in Stirling with her husband, crime fiction author, David Wilson.

Lynne has been a contributor on BBC Radio Scotland and has also carried out historical research for the book 'Sherlock Holmes and the Edinburgh Haunting'. Lynne has also appeared in the BBC Scotland documentary 'The Force: The Story of Scotland's Police' and the ASN Mystery Channel documentary 'The Truth About Sherlock Holmes'.
